Los Angeles Lakers 2025-26 Statement Edition Jersey



The Los Angeles Lakers unveiled new Statement Edition uniforms for 2025-26 season, removing the black accents that were introduced in 2018-19 and simplifying their iconic purple and gold design.

The purple jerseys prominently display a "Lakers" wordmark across the chest, though that and the drop shadow numbers are now rendered in white with a gold outline. The wordmark was previously gold with a black stroke while the numbers were inverted.

The thick black side panels have also been replaced by thin gold and white stripes, as well as an iridescent "Los Angeles Lakers" wordmark that repeats itself as it runs vertically down the sides of the jerseys and shorts.

The white stripe is carried over to the collar and arm holes on the jersey and wraps around the bottom of the shorts, which also feature Los Angeles’ primary logo on the waistband and partial "LA" logo on both legs.

This marks the first time the "LA" logo has appeared on one of the Lakers' core uniforms, which includes their white Association, gold Icon and purple Statement sets, as it debuted on their 2023-24 City Edition shorts.

Stretching proudly across the chestthe Lakers' primary wordmark nowappears in crisp white letteringoutlined in a striking gold trim.
