The Los Angeles Lakers unveiled new Statement Edition uniforms for 2025-26 season, removing the black accents that were introduced in 2018-19 and simplifying their iconic purple and gold design. The purple jerseys prominently display a "Lakers" wordmark across the chest, though that and the drop shadow numbers are now rendered in white with a gold outline. The wordmark was previously gold with a black stroke while the numbers were inverted.
